Objective of the Course: |
This course covers how to use Orff instruments in education, technical features, application in school music and learning-teaching techniques of these instruments. In this course, especially the activities that will help students develop their musical reading, listening and playing with individual and group skills are aimed, as well as the ability to perform polyphonic melodies that can be used in Orff instruments and school music applications and to create a repertoire consisting of rhythm, movement and improvisation activities. |

Group Assignment: Using educational music arrangement techniques spoken in the class, it is asked to select a piece together with the group and to make arrangement to that piece using Orff instruments and perform the piece in the class and at the concert. |
