19 Objective of the Course: Gaining the ability to be able to identify the different pottery genre from Classical Pottery in the light of the vessel forms and decoration styles

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to use the Classical Period Ceramic terminology correctly;
2 To be able to distinguish the Classical Period Ceramic Groups ;
3 To be able to date Classical Period Figured vases in the light of their stylistic features.;
4 To be able to classify Classical Period Black glazed pottery according to the development of vessel forms. ;
5 To be able to classify the Classical Period Coarse ware according to forms and functions and to distinguish their chronological changes.;

5 Late Archaic Red Figure Painters (500-480/470 BC)
6 Early Classical Red Figure Painters (470-450/440 BC)
7 Classical Red Figure Painters (450-420 BC)
8 Rich Style and Meidias Painter (420-400 BC)
9 Kerch Vases and 4th Century BC Red Figured Vases
10 Black Glazed Ceramiques: From the Late Archaic Period to the 4th Century BC
