19 Objective of the Course: The purpose of explaining the history of archaeological thinking in a general way.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be informed about the curiosity aroused by the written sources and material traces of Ancient Age in the Ancient Age and the Middle Ages. To learn the first known museums, historical artifacts collections. To be able to discuss the effects of the Renaissance, Reform, Industrial Revolution and the Nationalism movement in the early 20th century on the approach to archeology. With the emergence of archeology as a scientific discipline as a science in the world and Turkey, to have information in the archaeological issues as a scientific dicipline.
