19 Objective of the Course: To recognize the children’s literature with all types.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Getting to know children's literature according to genres
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Undergraduates learn place of children’s literature within the concept of literature generally.;
2 Understand why is needed children’s literature.;
3 Learn the properties of the children’s novel and story.;
4 Learn the types of the children’s novel and story.;
5 Recognize Turkish and foreign children’s novel and story writers and they know matters which handled by writers.;
6 Know how to benefit by children from novels and stories which was written for adults.;
7 Know that characteristics of memoir, biography and travel writing which are used for children.;
8 Know that benefit of dramatization for child.;
9 Know that importance of theatre for child.;
10 Know that the effect of periodicals on children.;
