Objective of the Course:
To show development of children’s literature at Turkey.

To have knowledge about the development of children's literature in Turkey

Learning Outcomes:
1
Undergraduates know works which are used for children before Tanzimat.;

Learn pedagogical studies which have been started at Tanzimat Period.;
3
Learn relationship between children’s literature and translations which have been done at Tanzimat Period.;
4
Learn books which have been prepared at Meşrutiyet Period for child.;
5
Learn books which have been prepared at Cumhuriyet Period for child.;
6
Learn that which genres are located in Turkish Children’s Literature;
7
Learn that which themes are located in Turkish Children’s Literature.;
8
Recognize that Turkish writers who are acquired a profession to writing for child.;
9
Understand that in fact each book is said to be suitable for children may not be suitable for children.;

Compare that children’s books including similar or different themes.;
