19 Objective of the Course: Be able to review and criticise German textbooks, textbook selection criteria to teach.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It helps prospective teachers to be able to analyse their curriculum,syllabus and materials and Evaluate modify and design them in line with the aims of the course and the students.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to recognise the components of the course books.;
2 To be able to grasp the criteria to evaluate the course books.;
3 To be able to evaluate all aspects of textbooks by using evaluation criteria.;
4 To be able to decide the appropriate textbook using the evaluation criteria.;
5 To be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the textbooks.;
6 To be able to provide and use different support materials to overcome the weaknesses of the textbooks..;
7 To be able to acquire basic information for developing course content.;
8 To be able to contribute to colleagues in the evaluation, selection and use of textbooks.;

1 Analysis and critique of the textbooks; didactic and methodological elements. Collection of material on the subject, reading resources:

3 Review of the general and regional German textbooks.
4 German textbooks in the four basic skills (listening).
5 German textbooks in the four basic skills (speaking).
6 German textbooks in the four basic skills (reading).
7 German textbooks in the four basic skills (writing).
8 German textbooks "vocabulary".
9 German textbooks "grammar".
10 German textbooks "pronunciation".
11 German textbooks "visual material".
12 German texts used in textbooks.
13 Cultural elements in German textbooks.
14 Discussion and evaluation of the semester.
