19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to analyze and critically evaluate scientific studies related to the teaching of German as a foreign language, to use quantitative and qualitative research principles, to create research questions specific to their own studies with data acquisition and analysis, to increase their knowledge and skills in discussing research results and writing reports.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It prepares an important basis for the thesis work and future studies of the student who completes the course and contributes to the studies he will do in his professional life.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student identifies and discusses current field research topics in teaching German as a foreign language.;
2 Knows the research process and its stages, compares research models and patterns.;
3 Criticizes the methods used in research.;
4 List the principles to be used in quantitative and qualitative research, estimates appropriate data collection methods and tools for problems using sampling strategies of quantitative and qualitative research.;
5 Prepare valid and reliable data collection tools and analyze the researches.;
6 Reports and presents analysis results.;
