19 Objective of the Course: The philosophical foundations of education aim to add meaning to life by including ontological, epistemological and ethical issues in addition to basic needs of the human self-realization process. Because only one can realize himself with the values he adds to life.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It contributes to the field of general culture and professional expertise.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 A student who makes philosophy learns to research and question.;
2 It does not reach the information with memorization method. Access to information only through research and inquiry methods.;
3 The knowledge he has learned will be much more permanent in mind.;
4 Questions knowledge by philosophy. So he can distinguish whether the information is real or not.;
5 While making philosophy, the student reaches the depth of knowledge and grasps the knowledge with his logic.;
6 Understands abstract thinking.;
7 Can realize that information is evolving continuously.;
8 Understands the importance of thinking reasoned and taking reasoned action.;
9 Shows the ability to look at the existent from a certain distance.;
10 Can analyze cause-effect relationships.;

11 Philosophical analysis in education.
12 Criticism and education.
13 The reform problem of education.
14 Overview of today's problems in terms of the basic problems of education and philosophy.
