19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to examine the statutory and judicial law governing collective labor relations through case studies and jurisprudence. It also aims to play a leading role on the solution of collective labour disputes.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It has a contribution towards creating a basis for the development of students' professional skills related to collective labour law.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to apply basic principles of collective labour law relating to Collective Labor Law to factual situations/problems.;
2 To be able to demonstrate an ability to synthesize the legal principles emerging from application of legal consequences by means of jurisprudence. ;
3 To be able to have the ability to overcome collective labour disputes through the peaceful solution ways. ;
4 To be able to understand the roles of parties grounding collective labour relations in the process of collective bergaining. ;
5 evaluate the laws and jurisprudence governing Collective Labor Law so as to respond to societal needs.;
6 To be able to solve problems of the work life in the future.;
7 To be able to demonstrate an ability to research and write about collective labor law involving critical analysis of relevant primary and/or secondary materials;
8 To be able to have a perception about democracy in work life and social life, as well. ;

5 Rights and obligations arising from trade union membership - Free and prohibited activities of the trade union
6 Safeguards within the scope of union activities
7 Scope and types of collective labour agreements
8 The concept of authority in collective labor agreements
9 The impact of collective bargaining agreements on employment contracts
10 Adherence to collective labour agreements and benefiting from collective labour agreements
11 Mediation in collective labour disputes
12 The concept and elements of strike
13 Concept and elements of lockout
14 Illegal strikes and lockouts - The right to collective action
