19	Objective of the Course:	To acquire knowledge about the historical development of Turkish music theories and pitch systems
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	This course contributed to students professional development in having general knowledge about Turkish music theories and sound systems and be able to reflect these knowledge to their professional studies.

Learning Outcomes:

1	To have knowledge about Turkish music theories;
2	To have knowledge about the historical process of Turkish music theories;
3	To be able to identify the Persian, Arabic and Turkish manuscripts about Turkish music theory;
4	To have knowledge about Turkish music pitch systems;
5	To be able to compare the theoretical works of Turkish music done before 20th century;
6	To be able to compare the theoretical works of Turkish music done before and after 20th century;
7	To be able to compare the theoretical works of Turkish music done in 20th and 21st century;
