19 Objective of the Course: This course involves intermediate problems in printmaking with emphasis on individual expression based on historical as well as contemporary concerns and approaches in art. Through brief lecture, demonstrations or practice, students will produce a consistent edition of eight different printmaking processes: monoprint, collagraph, linocut, woodcut, etching, engraving, drypoint and mezzotint.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It integrates the experience gained with original printmaking techniques and methods with an interdisciplinary approach to artistic expression skills within the scope of painting.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Using the right equipment and materials, workshops and efficient working habits.;
2 Have technical, material and equipment knowledge about mono and silk printing.;
3 It produces quality and original prints by using mono and silk printing technique.;
4 Have technical, material and equipment knowledge about colograph and linoleum printing.;
5 Produces quality and original prints by using the Kolograg and Linol printing technique.;
6 Have technical, material and equipment knowledge related to wood printing.;
7 Produces qualified and original prints using wood printing technique.;
8 Have knowledge of technique, materials and equipment related to Pit Printing (Line engraving, resinization, mezzotint and dry scraping).;
9 Produces qualified and original prints using the intaglio Printing technique.;
