19 | Objective of the Course: | There have been very productive discussions in Contemporary Epistemology in the last 50 years. In this field, virtue epistemology, naturalist epistemology, social and feminist epistemology are among the new theories of knowledge that stand out. Feminist epistemology affects many fields, from political philosophy to ethics, and causes new questioning. All new theories of knowledge are generally introduced in our course titled "Basic Problems of Epistemology" at the master's level. In this course the works of prominent thinkers in feminist epistemology will be subjected to close reading. |
