19 | Objective of the Course: | In addition to political history of Ottoman Empire that constitutes a significant part of Islamic History discovering features belong to social life like religious life, family organization, educational and economic level, foundations, architecture and social groups etc. is crucial for comprehending Ottoman society. Analyzing the cities that were under the control of the Ottoman Empire before, and now under the control of thirty different countries especially Turkey, will reveal common values of these geographies. With this course, which is planned to be opened considering that there are many students from the aforementioned geography, it is aimed to explain Ottoman social life from different aspects to both the students of our country and our guest students by taking different cities into the center and to make it easier for them to prepare a thesis in the next stage. |
