19 Objective of the Course: Non-formal religious education is the activities carried out in addition to the religious education and training provided in formal education institutions in order to enlighten those who want to learn about religion, to instil common religious and national values in members of the society, and to instil in individuals the principles of religion such as brotherhood, self-sacrifice and tolerance. This course aims to introduce students to this field and to discuss the main problem areas.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The non-formal religious education course investigates and analyses the theoretical and practical problems of these activities related to religious understanding and living, and tries to find solutions and develop theories for the future.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student learns the Importance of Religious Education in Mosquse and Qur’anic Courses.;
2 Recognise problems of adult religious education in perspectives of biological, psychological and social.;
3 İdentify adult religious education aims and goals and develops suitable programs.;
4 Evaluate adult religious programmes and progress adult religious education methots.;
5 Evaluate programmes for adult religious educators.;
6 Develops theories in concers of social, culturel and technological developments in the field of adult religious education. programmes for adult religious educators.;
7 The student had androgogical formation for adult religious education.;
8 İdentifies essencies for adult religious education for religious personals.;
9 Recognize differences for pedagoy and androgagy and applies suitable methots.;
10 Develops intergenerational religious education programs.;
