19 Objective of the Course: This course will look at various examples of digital culture, the impact of digital media on the relationship between the individual and society, how digital technologies both transform social practices and how people use these technologies, and how digital technologies change the role of media in our daily lives.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Students taking this course learn to analyze the role of media in social relations in the digital age.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understanding how our individual and collective lives in our age are shaped and mediated by a complex and pervasive media culture, with digitalization and the internet at every moment;
2 Describing the complex relationship between media, technology and society;
3 Comprehending how digital media permeates every aspect of society and culture from politics to economy, education to health, family to daily life;
4 Exploring how digital media offers people a wide range of opportunities and seriously challenges our stereotypes and ways of thinking and living;
