19 Objective of the Course: To give information about the concept of folk tale, the characteristics, sources, classification of folk tales and to examine Turkish folk tales methodologically.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To have knowledge about folk tales.

1 To have knowledge about Turkish folk tales.;
2 To have information about the form and content features of Turkish folk tale.;
3 To have information about the development of Turkish folk literature based on genres.;
4 To have knowledge about the sources and classification of Turkish folk tales.;
5 To be able to recognize different types of folk tales and to classify the stories according to their subjects.;
