19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge of the basic principles of qualitative research design and data collection procedures in the field of English language teaching.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Students will be able to investigate their own teaching contexts using appropriate research techniques with the aim of professional development.

1 Explain the principles of qualitative research;
2 Appreciate the value of qualitative research in foreign language teaching;
3 Describe the principles of narrative inquiry;
4 Describe the principles of case study research;
5 Describe the principles of ethnographical research ;

7 Use digital databases to search for articles with qualitative research design;
