19 Objective of the Course: Recognizing and learning folk music, which is one of our traditional music genres, is for general purposes; You can understand the theoretical structure of folk music, perform it, perform solfege, dictate, write melody and enable its transfer.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To have proficiency in the field of Turkish Folk Music theory and practice in the field of teaching profession, to understand the place and importance of our traditional music in education.

1 To comprehend historical development of Turkish Folk Music;
2 To learn different types blonging to Turkish Folk Music;
3 To know the changing marks and intervals used in Turkish Folk Music;
4 To know the basic structure of scale used in Turkish Folk Music;
5 Understand and apply the methods used in Turkish Folk Music.;
6 Recognizes and applies the frets and gaps used in Turkish Folk Music.;
7 Have knowledge and skills to transfer Turkish Folk Music.;
8 Performs deciphering and solfege studies in Turkish Folk Music.;
9 He writes dictation and melody in Turkish Folk Music.;
