19 Objective of the Course: The objective is to examine the philosophy of child and adolescent psychiatry nursing, the relationship between basic human sciences and child and adolescent psychiatry nursing, current practices and the compliance of theories and practices with the child and adolescent psychiatry nursing in parallel to the developments in the world and in our country.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The objective is to examine the philosophy of child and adolescent psychiatry nursing, the relationship between basic human sciences and child and adolescent psychiatry nursing, current practices and the compliance of theories and practices with the child and adolescent psychiatry nursing in parallel to the developments in the world and in our country.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Knowing the basic concepts related to the child and adolescent development ;
2 Knowing the epidemiology of child and adolescent psychiatry;
3 Comprehending and realizing disorders related to the child and adolescent psychiatry;
4 Planning, implementing and evaluating effective nursing care in childhood and adolescence ;
5 Conveying the knowledge to the child and adolescent during care ;
6 Using the effective communication techniques and acting within the team spirit ;
7 Acquiring sufficient knowledge about and insight into planning and conducting the researches that will play a key role in the development of child and adolescent nursing;
8 Complying with ethical rules in providing care for children and adolescents ;
9 Following the policies of child and adolescent psychiatry;
