19 Objective of the Course: To be able to analyze texts in Turkish music written sources.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The course contributes to the student’s knowledge of the Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Turkish texts written in Turkish music written sources in different periods and reflecting this to their professional studies.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To have knowledge about Ottoman writing types;;
2 To be able to distinguish Arabic and Persian words in Ottoman texts;;
3 To be able to analyze texts in the written sources of Turkish music before the 15th century;;
4 To be able to analyze texts in 15th century Turkish music written sources;;
5 To be able to analyze texts in 17th century Turkish music written sources;;
6 To be able to analyze texts in 18th century Turkish music written sources;;
7 To be able to analyze texts in 19th century Turkish music written sources.;
