19 | Objective of the Course: | The aim is to briefly touch upon the historical process of pre-school education in both western and Islamic education, and to introduce pedagogues and thinkers who express their views on this issue. In addition, it is aimed to introduce the approaches related to early childhood education from past to present. |
20 | Contribution of the Course to Professional Development | Being aware of both the history and approaches of pre-school education by reading this course will enable individuals who will take part in early childhood education at various levels to determine the place of the education they have/will do in practice in the current practices in the world. They will also acquire knowledge and skills in putting forward original practices suitable for our own culture and civilization. |
