1 To be able to identify the institutions containing the archival sources of Ottoman history.; 2 To be able to be aware of the document types in archives; 3 To be able to use archival documents and manuscripts as historical sources; 4 To be able to express thesecond hand sources of Ottoman history.; 5 To be able to possess the ethical sensitivity required for scientific research.; 6 To be able to obtain the approaches required for historical researches. ; 7 To be able to acquire the knowledge needed for the field of specialty.; 8 The student is able to increase his/her knowledge with advanced level readings. ;
