19 | Objective of the Course: | To give information about the place of the textbook in teaching as one of the most important materials of a course; to introduce the external conditions (laws, regulations, school types, market conditions, etc.) and internal conditions (methods to be used, features of the subject area, physical construction conditions, etc.) that make up the textbook and to make applications in this regard; recognizing the richness and forms of exercises that require language, thematic integrity, testing and consolidation, which are important in a textbook; To show the importance of text selection and diversity in Turkish lessons; the function of elements such as page layout and the use of graphic elements and demonstrating them practically on old-new textbooks; To provide teacher candidates with the ability to examine a textbook related to his field from different angles and to write an evaluation report. |
