| 19 | Objective of the Course: | The purpose of this course is to enable prospective teachers to understand the objectives and contents of contemporary history education, to critically understand the current problems of history education, to deeply comprehend concepts of fact, concept and generalization, to conceive the importance and dimensions of conceptual teaching, to understand the ways of identifying and resolving the misconceptions, to explain the methods that can be used in conceptual teaching, to develop a material to be used in conceptual teaching, and to review the relevant literature. |
