19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to introduce the characteristics of language learning and teaching context and the materials to be used within that context. They also learn to select, evaluate,adapt and design ELT materials.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It helps prospective teachers to be able to analyse the ELT materials and design in line with the aims of the course and the students.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Teacher candidates will learn and evaluate concepts of educational context and ELT materials ducatofcurriculum/Syllabus "syllabus";
2 They analyse the concepts of materials evaluation and adaptation and they apply.;
3 They evaluate and design effective learning environments and experiences by using ELT materials;
4 They implement lesson plans that include methods and strategies for applying written and visaul materials to maximize student learning.;
5 They apply technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment and evaluation strategies.;
