19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is for students to learn the concepts and practices related to social emotional learning, to know the importance of social emotional learning in pre-school period and how to develop it. At the same time, it is the examination of social emotional learning programs used in early childhood education in the world and in our country.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Students can determine the social-emotional skills level of the students they will work with and the social learning experiences they need. Students can choose the appropriate social emotional learning programs for the students they will work with and apply them if necessary.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students explain the importance of social-emotional learning.;
2 Students explain the effect of social-emotional learning in education on life success.;
3 Students explain what social-emotional learning experiences are like in preschool.;
4 Students prepare activities to develop social learning skills.;
5 Students explain programs that support social emotional learning in preschool education;
6 Students compare programs that support social emotional learning in preschool education;
