19 Objective of the Course: In line with the general purpose of recognizing and learning folk music, one of our traditional music genres; to understand the theoretical structure of folk music, to be able to sing, to perform solfeggio, to write dictation and melody, to be able to transfer.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To have proficiency in the field of Turkish Folk Music theory and practice in the field of teaching profession, to understand the place and importance of our traditional music in education.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Recognizes the types of instruments and instruments in Turkish folk music.;
2 Recognizes the series used in Turkish folk music.;
3 Recognize Turkish folk music forms.;
4 Knows and applies usage techniques in educational music.;
5 Knows the local folk differences.;
6 Recognizes the local way of saying.;
7 Sollfej in different makams and procedures.;
8 It dictates in different authorities and procedures.;
9 He writes melodies in different makams and procedures.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Combined methods. Application studies in compound methods.
2 Rast four and five, the sequence of ras (müstezat). Exercises to create solfege dictation and melody in Rast series.
3 Hicaz (Garip) four and five, hicaz series Dictation and creating melodies in Hicaz series.
4 Kürdi four and five. Kürdi (Bozlak) series. Studies of creating solfege dictation and melody in Kürdi series.
5 Local dialects. Performing the samples from various regions.
6 Types of Turkic forms. Performing various forms.
7 Saba (kalender) quartet and series. Exercises to create solfege dictation and melody in Saba series.
8 Segah four and five, segah series. Exercises to create solfege dictation and melody in Segah series.
9 The saddle four and the five are the saddle series. Exercises of solfege dictation and melody in the sadness series.
10 Evç series Exercises to create solfege dictation and melody in the Evç series.
11 In various series, forms and procedures; solfege, dictation and melody creation techniques. Solfege dictation and creation of melodies.
