19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about: 1.recognition of the concepts of religion, culture and ethics. 2. explaination the relationship between religion and culture. 3. explaination the origin and history of religion. 4. explaination the distinctive features of religion. 5. explaination the relationship between religion and people. 6. Able to classify comparative between religions. 7. To reveal the authenticity of Islam. 8. recognition the concept of belief = faith. 9. how to know the conditions to faith. 10. understanding what the basic principles of Islam is. 11. Ability to learn the definition and application forms of worship. 12. explaination the social and psychological benefits of prayer. 13. understanding the principles of ethics and the principles of morality on the individual and society. 14. to know the basic values of life and their significance. 15. examination the curriculum of Religion and Ethics for 4. and 5. Grades. 16. Presentation of appropriate approaches to the academic program of Religion and Ethics.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The contribution of this course to the teaching profession is to ensure that the personality of the teacher is integrated and developed through morality and values and that they reflect this to the profession.

1 Knows the concepts of Religion, Culture and Morality; explains the relationship between religion and culture.;
2 explains the history and origin of religion.;
3 explains the distinctive characteristics of religion and the religion-human relationship.;
4 Makes a comparative classification of Religions; may reveal the authenticity of Islam.;
5 Recognizes the concepts of belief and faith.;
6 knows how to Faith.;
7 Knows what the basic principles of Islam is.;
8 Learns to make the definition and application forms of worship.;
9 Explains the social and psychological benefits of prayer; knows about the principles of ethics and the principles of morality on the individual and society.;

1 The aim and the principles of the course; The history of religious education and teaching.
2 New approaches to education and the teaching of religion: How does a religious education and teaching? Why is Religious education and teaching?
3 What is Religion? Humanity and Religion. Religion in other religions and languages. Religion according to the history of religions researchers. Different opinions about the origin of religion. View of Islam about the source of the religion. Primitive religions, national religions: Hinduism-Buddhism.
4 Divine religions: Judaism-Christianity
5 Islam, the life of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.v). That the universal qualities of Islam.
6 What is Iman (faith)? Principles of belief in Islam: Faith in God, angel faith, belief in the Book.
7 Prophet faith, belief in the Hereafter, belief in fate.
8 Repeating courses and midterm exam
9 Faith-Worship relationship, the principles of worship in Islam: Prayer worship.
10 Fasting, Zakat, Hajj, and spiritual and physical benefits of Worships.
11 Religion is good morals. What is Morality? Relationship between religion and ethics.
12 Religious people is the moral person.
13 Pillars of Islamic ethics. Concepts about morality.
