19 Objective of the Course: To introduce the written texts belonging to the Uighur period of Old Turkish in terms of phonetics, morphology and vocabulary.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Phonetics, morphology, vocabulary etc. of the written texts of Old Turkish belonging to the Uyghur period. To be able to recognize the aspects.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understands the term Uighur and its scope.;
2 Knows the historical, political and cultural environment that make up the Uyghur written language.;
3 Learns the belief systems that Uyghurs belong to.;
4 Understands the effect of Uighurs' attachment to Buddhism, Manichaeism and Christianity on language.;
5 Recognizes the alphabets used in the Uighur period.;
6 Recognizes written products written in Uyghur and knows their features.;
7 Understands Uyghur literature and the basic issues that make up the literature.;
8 Understands the characteristics of Uyghur and can compare with other periods and fields.;

1 Uyghurs (Period of rule, geography, political and administrative structure, belief systems)
2 Alphabets used by Uyghurs, evaluation of Uyghur in terms of language features.
