19 Objective of the Course: To explain the concepts, principles, models and theories of adult education, the foundations on which it is based, the learning characteristics of adult individuals, lifelong learning understanding and skills, and to raise awareness in being a lifelong learner.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The definition of adult education, its scope, related concepts, relevant approaches and models, and lifelong learning practices in the Turkish education system will teach prospective teachers.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Will be able to grasp the definition and scope of adult education;
2 Will be able to explain the concepts related to adult education;
3 Will be able to comprehend the learning features of adults;
4 Will be able to explain the general principles of adult education;
5 Recognize the importance of lifelong learning, comprehend the elements, principles and skills of lifelong learning;
6 Turkey and interpret the practice of lifelong learning in the world;
7 Will be able to provide the development of lifelong learning.;
8 Will be able to develop suggestions for the dissemination of lifelong learning.;
9 The history of adult education in Turkey, explain the organizational structure and functioning;
10 Will be able to explain models and theories about adult education;
