19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to give the student the following topics: First, Memorization and writing of the Qur'an during the Prophet; collection, writing, reproduction, punctuation and reading of these materials after his death; and teaching the history of the Qur'an, including these subjects. Second, The proof that the Qur'an is a book revealed and protected by Allah; Understanding and explaining the text of the Qur'an within the course of 14 century history and interpreting it according to the problems and needs of the period. Third, Introducing the whole of the exegesis activities of important people, currents and schools which emerged as a result of the difference in the approach styles they adopted and the principles of exegesis. Fourth, By utilizing the knowledge and methodology presented in these activities, to transfer a sound commentary culture and a sound commentary methodology that is compiled by compiling scientific, objective, durable, durable, filtering, sound, objective and useful information and methods. Fifth, Presenting a tafsir formation to students according to the scientific principles that covers knowledge, approaches, solutions and methods that will be needed in the face of religious and social problems.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Thanks to this course, the student systematically recognizes the Quran which is the main source of knowledge of the Islamic religion and the tafsir culture formed as an effort to understand it, from linguistic, historical, thematic, problematic and theoretical aspects and gains the ability to make scientific evaluation.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Gains the ability to transfer the high moral and spiritual values brought by the Quran to the modern world;
2 Acquires scientific knowledge in the historical knowledge and method acquisitions in understanding and interpreting the Quran;
3 Have the basic information about what kind of a book the Quran is;
4 To be able to comprehend the approaches, currents, schools and historical processes that constitute the main lines of classical tafsir history and provide understanding, explanation and interpretation of the Quran;
5 Can correctly read and interpret contemporary approaches, views and evaluations with his knowledge about the history of the Quran and tafsir;
6 Knowing the past and present of tafsir, he can use this knowledge as methodological analysts for tomorrow's developments;
