Objective of the Course:
Defining the factors that caused the formation of sculpture art and explaining the development phases of this art with examples.

Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
The student recognizes the sculptures from the prehistoric period, in which the first sculptural works of mankind were made, to the Iron Age. The student is informed about the sculptures and reliefs of the Mesopotamian civilizations like Sumer, Akkadian, Assyria as well as Hittite and Late-Hittite city-states.
