19	Objective of the Course:	Learns knowledge about the organizations and policies of animal husbandry in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes:

1	Learns the importance and structure of organizations in agriculture and husbandry.;
2	Learns the types of organizations in husbandry.;
3	Gets knowledge about the policies of organizations in husbandry in Turkey.;
4	Knows the agricultural cooperatives, their general principles and objectives.;
5	Learns the important associations/unions in animal husbandry, their goals and work issues.;
6	Gets idea about canalize producers regarding to organizations.;
7	Learns working areas after graduate.;
8	Gets knowledge background for leading of producer’s organizations.;

1	Overview of the course, the definition and importance of organizations in animal husbandry.
2	General information about the organizational structure of agriculture, the comparison of the structure of agricultural organization between EU and Turkey.
3	Types of husbandry organizations in Turkey a)The organizations types according to their functions: The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and its organizational structure.
4	The main service and the provincial service units and their tasks.
5	The related organizations and their tasks.
6	b)Organization types according to the effect of the government.
7	c)Organization types according to their purposes.
8	d)Organization types according to their legal structures.
9	Repeating courses and midterm exam
10	The agricultural cooperatives in Turkey and their classification.
11	The Professional and non-governmental organizations.
12	Unions in husbandry sector: Beekeepers’ Union, Sheep and Goat Breeders Union, Milk Procuders Union, Egg producers Union.
13	Poultry Meat Producers Association, Feed Manufacturers’ association, Cattle Breeders Association.
14	Subsidizes at animal husbandry.
