19 Objective of the Course: To enable prospective teachers to comprehend the concepts of democracy and human rights both as a way of life and as a philosophy of politics and law within their historical development and different dimensions, to develop positive attitude and values towards democratic values and human rights, and to achive cognitive outcomes oriented human rights and democracy education in secondary school.
