19 Objective of the Course: We aim to bring to the students accumulation of knowledge and ways of solution needed in the solving the problems and answering the questions regarding the Qur'an which they may encounter in the career and academic, by teaching them the problems of Tafseer Methodology currently emerged and different methodological approaches in the solution of problems.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Realize the Tafseer Methodology problems of nowadays in understanding and interpreting the Qur’an;
2 Understand the methodological approach in solving the Tafseer Methodology problems;
3 Karşılaşılan sorunları çözümlemede ihtiyacı olan bilgi birikimini ve çözümleme yollarını kazanabilme;
4 Know the academic activities produced by the Mufassirs in order to interpret Qur’an within the framework of the problems and needs of this era;
5 Understand in general and with their particular characteristic the specific and broad methods used in these activities;
6 Understand systematically the Tafseer Methodology problems with the aspect of method and content;
7 Build strong bridges between the classic and the modern approaches;
8 Read and interpret properly the modern approaches, point of views and valuations;
9 Achieve the skill to present to the modern world the high moral and spiritual values brought by the Qur’an;
10 Be able to answer the religious issues faced during their professional life;

1 The Meaning of Tafseer and Methodology
2 The Main resources of Tafseer Methodology
3 The Conceptual Framework of the Quranic Literature
4 The activities related to textualization of the Qurân
5 The writing, gathering, reproduction (copying) and accentuation of the Qurân
6 Seven Letters and Qiraat (seven ways of reciting the Qur’ân)
7 Written examination
8 Written examination
9 Assessment of homeworks
10 The sciences concerning literal/word of the Quran
11 The sciences concerning meaning of the Qurân
12 The sciences concerned with historical content
13 Exegesis of the Qurân and methods of exegesis
