General Description
Our program, which was established in 1986 under the name of "Industrial Electronics", was renamed "Electronic Technology" in 2010. 3 Instructors work in our program.

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a High School or an equivalent diploma and must take the sufficient score from Student Selection Exam (ÖSS).

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
For to have an associate degree in Electronics Technology Program students must take and be successful from the necessary and selective courses of all (total 120 ECTS). Students must also have a cumulative academic degree of 2.00 for to graduate.

Profile of The Programme
This programme intends to include all kinds of practical and theoretical aspects of the field of study, and it aims to furnish students with skills required in Electronics Technology as well as knowledge of computer technology and English language skills so that they can do continuous research and contribute to the development of scientific knowledge and technology according to the needs of society and industry.

Being able to render services in electronic techniker work domains considering scientific values and occupational ethics.Being able to reflect acquired knowledge on employee rights, human rights, quality management and occupational ethics on business life.

Being able to recognize basic functions of circuit constituents and the circuit behaviors that can be acquired by using them together or one by one.

Being able to recognize physical endurance limits of electronic circuit components and determine operating conditions accordingly.

Being able to produce solution for potential problems by utilizing acquired theoretical and experimental information in cause and effect relation.

Being able to utilize selected computer aided electronic design software for simulation and printed circuit board preparing purposes at basic level.

Being able to make decisions during independent praxis, take initiative and harmonize during teamwork.

Being able to handle current computer requisites like word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, e-mail, and Internet browsing software at a good level.

Being able to determine faults and malfunctions of electronic circuits and systems by using proper measurement devices and methods, troubleshoot them when supplied with the required tools and equipment.

Being able to produce solution for electronic circuits and systems, by using the basic knowledge on checking and designing control-based functions.

Being able to write occupational reports, to perform desired work according to a written statement and to make needs analysis.

Access to Further Studies
Students that have successfully completed the Associated Degree can appeal to Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) and can get involved in bachelor´s level that is specified by The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Students must attend to minimum one midterm and one final exam. A variety of assessment methods such as mid-term(s), assignment(s), exercise(s), project(s), practice(s), and a final exam are implemented in the program. The effect of these assessments to mean value is determined by the instructor. The contribution of final exam to grade is 60%. All exams are assessed over 100 points. Students must succeed at least 50 points in final exam and the mean value of all exams for one course must be at least 50 points to achieve this course. The table which shows the letter grades and associated coefficients can be seen below:

Graduation Requirements
Students in Electronics Technology Program can be graduated if they success the 120 ECTS credit of learning programme in total and complete their practical training (internship)
