General Description
The Institute of Life Sciences was founded in 1982 within The Rectorate of Bursa Uludag University. The Institute conducts graduate and doctorate education in the faculty of Arts and Science, the faculty of Engineering and Architecture and the faculty of Agriculture as part of the Institution´s goals and principles of graduate education. Currently, graduate studies in 20 disciplines are ongoing in the institute.
The Biology discipline has started the Master´s Degree education in the spring semester of 1984-1985. As of now, 122 of students have graduated and received a Master´s Degree. Now, 46 of students are enrolled in the Master´s program.
Biology program is subjected to 90-120 ECTS credits in higher education. In Master Program without thesis, it is required to 120 ECTS. The Master´s Degree in Biology program is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum
