Furnishing and Decoration
General Description
1
Brief History
Furniture and Decoration Program started teaching in 1995-1996 academic year in order to meet the qualified intermediate manpower of the regional industry in İnegöl. The fact that İnegöl is an international and national furniture production center can offer privileged benefits to the students of İnegöl Vocational School Furniture and Decoration Program. Being intertwined with an advanced industry in its field also contributes positively to university-industry cooperation. Industrial organizations are visited with technical trips organized at certain intervals and it is possible to examine the processes described in the courses on site. The furniture productions carried out in the application workshops with a closed area of 2,000m2, which are located on the campus and belong to the program, also contribute to the professional development of the students. The program ranks in the top three in TYT score ranking among 18 Furniture and Decoration programs across the country.
