Brief History
Academic staff supporting the program Automotive Eng., Mechanical Eng., Electrical-Electronic Eng. and Computer Engineering Department and Chemistry Department academic staff. Primarily, it is aimed that students who graduate from these departments do a master´s degree.

Qualification Awarded
The Master of Science Degree in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Program is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, seminars and defend a thesis sucessfully.

The application conditions, evaluation, required documents, exams and registration issues for the graduate program are announced on the University website.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Master’ Degree program has 120 ECTS credits, not less than a minimum of eight courses, a seminar and thesis work must succeed. The students of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Master Program who meet the relevant requirements are awarded MSc degree.

Profile of The Programme
The purpose of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Master´s Program is to be a continuously developing and exemplary Master´s Program that provides education at an international level and carries out original research studies, in accordance with international criteria and based on continuous development. Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Master´s Program aims to help the development of today´s and future technologies in the field of vehicles with alternative traction systems, to contribute to the training of qualified researchers and innovative workforce that will take the Turkish Automotive Industry further, to carry out R&D studies in the automotive field and to contribute to the development of the automotive industry. It aimed to support the development of University-Industry cooperation. Lesson Plans have been prepared with the aim of educating engineers with master´s degrees who have the knowledge and ability to work in the sector upon graduation.
In the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Master´s Program, students must present seminars, make a thesis and defend this work in front of a jury in addition to the course load.
It is possible to study within the scope of Erasmus at partner universities abroad.

Key Learning Outcomes & Classified & Comparative
1. Developing and intensifying knowledge in the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles program's area, based upon the competency in the undergraduate level.
2. Grasping the inter-disciplinary interaction related to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area.
3. The ability to use the expert-level theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the automotive engineering area.
4. Interpreting and forming new types of knowledge by combining the knowledge from the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area and the knowledge from various other disciplines
5. Solving the problems faced in the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area by making use of the research methods
6. The ability to carry out a specialistic study related to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area independently.
7. Developing new strategic approaches to solve the unforeseen and complex problems arising in the practical processes of one's area and coming up with solutions while taking responsibility.
8. Fulfilling the leader role in the environments where solutions are sought for the problems related to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles field.
9. Assessing the spesialistic knowledge and skill ganied through the study with a critical view and directing one's own learning process.
10. Systematically transferring the current developments in the area and one's own work to other groups in and out of the area; in written, oral and visual forms.
11. Ability to see and develop social relationships and the norms directing these relationships with a critical look and the ability to take action to change these when necessary.
12. Proficiency in a foreign language -at least European Language Portfolio B2 Level-and establishing written and oral communication with that language.
13. Using the computer software together with the information and communication Technologies efficiently and according to the needs of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area.
14. Paying regard to social, scientific, cultural and ethical values during the collecting, interpreting, practicing and announcing processes of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area related data and the ability to teach these values to others
15. Developing strategy, policy and application plans concerning the subjects related to the Automotive Engineering area and the ability to evaluate the end results of these plans within the frame of quality processes.
16. Using the knowledge and the skills for problem solving and/or application (which are processed within the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles area) in inter-disciplinary studies

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Graduates can work in the wide range of automotive industry organizations, R&D (Research and Development) firms, consulting companies, manufacturing industry, transportation systems, defense and aerospace industry, and in a wide variety of private and public sectors and firms in international and national organizations.

Access to Further Studies
The graduates holding Master´s Degree are eligible to apply to PhD Degree programs at national level and /or international level both in the same and in related disciplines.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Bursa Uludag University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation is applied.

Graduation Requirements
The graduate program has 120 ECTS credits, not less than a minimum of eight courses, a seminar and thesis work must succeed. Students must succesfully pass all compulsory and elective courses on the program and who have succesfully completed all courses in the curriculum will be given The Master´s Degree in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Program.

Facilities
