General Description
B.U.Ü. Faculty of Agriculture Department of Landscape Architecture was established on 29.06.1999. In the department, with the decision of CoHE dated 07.11.2014, has started education at the level of Master´s degree.
The graduate program in the department of Landscape Architecture is subjected to 90-120 ECTS credits in higher education. When the program is successfully completed and program qualifications are provided, master’s degree is given in the department of Landscape Architecture

Specific Admission Requirements
It is required that the bachelor of science and the numerical score for the sciences have the ALES base score to be determined by the Uludağ University Senate. The candidate must have taken the base score from one of the foreign languages of UDS, KPDS, TOEFL such as English, German, French, Italian, Russian and Arabic or must have taken the base score equivalent examination accepted by the Higher Education Council, determined by Uludag University Senate and applied by Uludağ University Foreign Language Higher School. The Senate of Uludag University decides on the equivalence of individual foreign language documents. Foreign candidates are required to submit a certificate of the results of the Turkish language proficiency test given by TÖMER and the relevant ALES exam result certificate or any of the GRE, GMAT and similar exams which are accepted internationally equivalent by the YÖK. The applicant must be successful in the written, practical and / or interview examinations related to the field of Landscape Architecture.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The Master´s program in Landscape Architecture includes at least a two-year education program. Students are required to complete compulsory and elective courses in the first year of the department program and successfully complete the course phase seminar (23 credits - 60 ECTS). In the second year, a theoretical and applied thesis study is carried out on a thesis topic determined by the thesis supervisor. Students who successfully complete the thesis work and fulfills the publication requirement successfully defend their master´s thesis in front of the determined jury. Students who take a valid grade from the exam made by the thesis defense jury will be awarded the title of Masters Degree and Science Expert in Landscape Architecture.

Profile of The Programme
The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills of basic landscape architecture, to develop and deepen the knowledge gained at the level of the graduate level, to develop knowledge and interpretation of the interdisciplinary relations on the basis of the landscape architecture field using and commenting on the relevant knowledge and knowledge, to cultivate landscape architects who can use the foreign language in a level that can communicate in writing, verbally and visual and can use the information technologies required by the field of landscape architecture at a high level.

Graduate students with sufficient ALES score and sufficient knowledge of foreign language may apply to doctorate programs in any field or proficiency in fine arts programs

Graduation Requirements
To successfully complete the master´s program, the conditions described in the "Qualification Requirements and Rules" section must be met and a thesis must be prepared in a related field on the topic needs to be successfully defended in front of a selected jury.
