1 To know the terminology of Mythology and Iconography;
2 Defining mythos, logos and mythology ;
3 Determine the theme of works of art;
4 Split the masterpieces into the groups according to their mythologic theme and period;
5 To get information of Old Testament;
6 To get information of New Testament;
7 Determine the Christian symbols in art;
8 Get understand importance of Mythology and iconography in the world of art;

1 What is mythology? What is iconography?
2 The source of the Greek mythology and the universe
3 God from Olympus: Zeus and Hera
4 Poseidon, Athena and Hades
5 Apollo, The Muses, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Eros
6 The other figures of the mythology : Satyr, Pan, Centaur
7 Greek Heroes: Herakles, Theseus, Perseus, Orpheus
8 Midterm-Review
9 Old Testament: Adam and Abraham
10 Old Testament: Moses
11 Christian Iconography: The Virgin
12 Christian Iconography: Jesus Christ
13 Christian Iconography: John the Baptist
