19 Objective of the Course: To recount the process of sufi thought and from the point of view indicate its contact to Islamic thought.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To evaluate sufi thought.;
2 To compare thought of Islamic mysticism with Islamic thought.;
3 To analyse relationship Sufism with philosophy. ;
4 To deal with sufi thought in terms of idea of union of religions. ;

2 First pieties in Islam
3 The transformation from zuhd to Sufism
4 The structure of Islamic mystical thought
5 The relationship between philosophy and Islamic mysticism.
6 The structure of philosophy of Islamic mysticism.
7 The influences of the philosophical systems on the philosophy of Islamic mysticism.
8 The major figures in the historical development of the philosophy of Islamic mysticism.
9 Allah in the Islamic mystical thought.
10 The universe and being in the Islamic mystical thought.
11 Human being in the Islamic mystical thought.
12 The relationship between wahtad al-wujud (the unicity of being) and pantheism.
13 Illumination
14 The unity of religions and the inter-religions dialogue in the Islamic mystical thought.
