19 Objective of the Course: The characteristics of health services are to examine and analyze the public policies for the supply of health services, the financing of public health services and institutions and structural transformations of health economics in the world and Turkey.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understand the basic features of health services;
2 Understand the reason for the role of the state in the financing, supply and regulation of health services;
3 To be able to discuss financing methods of public health services ;
4 To be able to comprehend cost-benefit analysis method in the presentation of public health services and to draw conclusions;
5 To be able to interpret the transformation of the health system in the globalization process and the sustainability of public health expenditures;
