19 Objective of the Course: One of the most important security challenges students face today is the ability of providing the right information and analyzing the armament problem, as well as the issue of types of weapons, weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons and the impact of these weapons on the regional security. Moreover, it is difficult for them to maintain discussions on these subjects if there is no basic knowledge about he field.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learning the concept of security, which has an important place in international relations;
2 Learning to understand from a different perspective the relation between the armament and security ;
3 Learning the aims of the weapon buyer and seller countries in the context of studying the types of weapons, weapon production and sale of weapons ;
4 Creating an opinion about the problems caused by the trafficking of conventional arms and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction ;
5 Informing specifically about the proliferation of nuclear weapons, as well as the regional and global weapon initiatives ;
