19 Objective of the Course: To aim of this course is generated theoretical framework related poverty and using that theoretical basis to evaluted tools which is used at poverty combating in Turkey and World. Also aim to reach general point of view about poverty.

1 To be able to understand multidimensional characteristics of poverty ;
2 To be able to comprehend interrelated interactions between poverty and other social issues ;
3 To be able to recognized poverty which is important social issue. ;
4 To be able to measured and interpreted as poverty within various criteria. ;
5 To be able to familiarize between poverty and macro economic indicators. ;
6 To be able to understand importance of welfare policies at poverty combating ;
7 To be able to discussed dimensions of poverty and characteristics of poor in Turkey;
8 To be able to familiarize between social policies and poverty combating ;
