19 Objective of the Course: To gain insight into the ancient Greek Philosophy, to learn the basic problems, currents and philosophers of antiquity.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To conceive both the place and importance of ancient philosophy;
2 To understand the birth of philosophy as a transition from muthos to logos;
3 To see the relation between ancient Greek Philosophy and Western Civilization;
4 To understand the basic problems of ancient philosophy;
5 To make an introduction to the philosophies of important Greek philosophers;
6 To have some ideas about the influence of ancient Greek philosophy both to Christian and Islamic civilizations;

5 Plüralists (Empedocles, Anaxagoras and Atomists)
