19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to teach usage possibilities of wooden or steel structural component and principles of design of wooden or steel structural component depend on material properties in the design of agricultural structures

1 Understand the joint materials in wood and steel structures ;
2 Recognize wood and steel building systems and their components;
3 Design wooden roof system in a agricultural structure ;
4 Design columns and roof components in steel structures;

1 Introduction to wooden structures
2 Wooden structure joints and threaded joints
3 Joining tools, bolted connections
4 Bolts and anchor bolts
5 Axial tensile and compressive force bearing components
6 Single and multi-piece pressure bars
7 Compression members
8 Trusses, wood roof systems, principles of roof components calculations
9 Repetition of course
10 Steel building materials and the joining tools
11 Welding and welded joints
12 Tensile bars and pull-rods attachments
