19 Objective of the Course: The main objective of the course is to enable students to grasp the idea and the practice of administrative reform and to have a basic level of knowledge on reforms implemented in Turkey and other countries.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To gain a conceptual understanding of administrative reforms. ;
2 To have knowledge on different approaches to administrative reform. ;
3 To have knowledge on different strategies regarding administrative reform.;
4 To grasp the political aspects of administrative reform.;
5 To have an idea about the process of administrative reform in detail. ;
6 To evaluate the causes of administrative reform within the current public administration approach. ;
7 To compare and evaluate different implementations of administrative reforms in Turkey and some other countries. ;
8 To have knowledge on the main tendencies in reforming public administration.;
