Learning Outcomes:

1 To be able to evaluate impacts of market structures and firm conducts on the efficiency.; 2 To be able to evaluate industrialization process with socio-economic dynamics. ; 3 To be able to comprehend concepts of game theory, and analyze the relationships between economic agents in the frame of game theory.; 4 To be able to evaluate the role of competition on technological improvements, productivity, and consumer and producer welfare. ; 5 To be able to evaluate market merger and monopolization tendency, and regulations to prevent distortions of competition.; 6 To be able to evaluate the role of legal regulation and law enforcement on the functioning of the market.; 7 To be able to grasp the concepts of positive and negative externalities and propose solutions to eliminate the negative externalities.; 8 To be able to evaluate arrangements and applications related to competition law in Turkey.;
