19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is, in addition to today’s human-plant relationship, to make comperative studies between today’s plants and their patterns of use and archeological plant remains and their uses.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To determine the important clues of the present and past cultures about the relationship between human and plant provided.;
2 To ensure the recognation of today’s plants in order to transfer to future generations and put forward local patterns of usage.;
3 To understand interactions between the plant world and the people with researching the human-plant remains that cultivated and used of people living areas of archaeological and development of human in this subject.;
4 To understand ethnobotanical research methods for identifying plants eaten and psychoactive plants in the palnt-human relationship.;
5 To create data bases on ethnobotanical collections.;
6 To obtain the skills of analyzing the ethnobotanical results.;
7 To update by new information by comparing today’s use with determining usage of various fields like important medical, food, fuel, clothing, constuction, handicrafts, fodder for animals, biological struggle and social usages in the past. ;
8 To learn and apply interview techniques with the people who have great knowledge about folkloric uses of plants in rural areas,;
9 To protect the local resources and to transfer the sense of responsibility to the generations who benefit of both environment and plants at present and in future.;
